京东物流成立于2007年,是京东商城“派生”出的一体化供应链企业。发展至2020年,京东物流已经成为中国一体化供应链收入第一、快递业务量第八、冷链收入第二的综合物流企业。与顺丰、通达系等传统第三方物流不同,京东物流有着“京东”和“物流”两大特殊属性。
①“京东”属性:“京东”属性是一种品牌标签,赋予JDL品牌导流能力的同时,牺牲了公司部分市场空间。京东物流的业务量的提升主要来自两方面:
一是京东商城自营订单数量的提升,该部分订单的配送全部由京东物流负责;
二是京东商城POP订单数量以及京东物流在POP客户中渗透率的提升,已经有35%的POP客户选择使用京东物流。
②“物流”属性:与提供标准化服务的顺丰通达百世不同,京东物流提供的是定制化供应链服务,壁垒更高,扩张更难。

First, the increase in the number of JD Mall's self-operated orders, and the delivery of these orders is entirely handled by JD Logistics;
Second, the increase in the number of JD Mall's POP orders and the penetration rate of JD Logistics among POP customers. 35% of POP customers have chosen to use JD Logistics.
② "Logistics" attribute: Unlike SF Express, Tongda and Best Express, which provide standardized services, JD Logistics provides customized supply chain services, which have higher barriers and are more difficult to expand.
JD Logistics has three main modes of transportation, namely third-party logistics, self-operated logistics and logistics alliance. Large enterprises such as JD Mall choose the self-operated logistics mode. As the core competitiveness of the enterprise, JD CEO believes that self-operated logistics is very necessary for the development of e-commerce enterprises and has great advantages.
