1 Log in to the merchant backend shop.jd.com and visit “My Store → Store Management → Business Qualifications”, and click “Modify” to update industry qualifications and add categories.

2 Click “Modify” to directly update the category qualification information, and click “Add” to select the corresponding secondary and tertiary categories to be added according to the current main categories, and upload the corresponding business qualification information according to the current operating categories and newly added categories.

Currently, the merchant models that are allowed to apply for new categories include SOP, FBP, and global shopping merchants. However, merchants whose main categories are fresh food, agricultural supplies and green plants, artworks, computer office, local life/travel, auctions, and real estate are not open to online application categories for the time being.
