The ERP system of JD.com's operation center can provide detailed information about each product: when it was put into storage, who is the buyer, which supplier is it, how much is the purchase price, how long is the warranty period, and which shelf it is on.

After the customer places an order on the JD.com shopping page, the information system starts to operate at high speed.

It first determines which warehouse the product is in and whether it needs to be transferred internally, and then corresponds the order to the corresponding warehouse management system (WMS); the warehouse management system will make the corresponding positioning, that is, find which shelf the product is on, and send the information to the PDA carried by the warehouse staff; after receiving the information, the staff will go to the corresponding shelf to pick up the goods and put the goods into the turnover box that has popped up at the corresponding position. If a customer buys several products at the same time, the turnover box will pop up in the corresponding positions of these products in sequence according to the order order, and the warehouse staff will put the corresponding products in.

After picking the goods, the turnover boxes are sent to the review and scanning station. The staff will check them again before shipping. After confirming that they are correct, they will print the invoice and shopping list. After packing, they will be transferred to the shipping team.

The shipping team will then put the goods in the temporary storage area and ship them at the delivery time. The driver will deliver the goods to the distribution station.

The distribution station will distribute the goods to the delivery staff, who will complete the delivery.
