1. No commission or deposit for the first three months

Unlike other platforms, Shopee charges commissions, but no deposit. The commission is generally 3-5% of sales.

2. To register a store, you need to provide a self-employed or company license. You can register a Taiwan site self-employed license. If you don’t have a physical store, you need to apply for an agent, which is generally a few hundred yuan; if you want to apply for a company operating license, it will be much more expensive, generally a few thousand yuan. 3. The cost of preparing goods

If you have your own source of goods and ship them yourself, you need to prepare goods in advance. Of course, you don’t need to prepare a lot at the beginning. 4. Customers advance funds

Normally, after you ship the goods, the money paid by the customer is still on the platform. It will take about half a month for the customer to confirm receipt of the goods, so you need to advance the advance funds.
