荔枝,无患子科,荔枝属常绿乔木,高约10米。果皮有鳞斑状突起,鲜红,紫红。成熟时至鲜红色;种子全部被肉质假种皮包裹。花期春季,果期夏季。果肉产鲜时半透明凝脂状,味香美,但不耐储藏。
荔枝味甘、酸、性温,入心、脾、肝经;可止呃逆,止腹泻,是顽固性呃逆及五更泻者的食疗佳品,同时有补脑健身,开胃益脾,有促进食欲之功效。因性热,多食易上火。荔枝木材坚实,纹理雅致,耐腐,历来为上等名材。
2.菠萝
是热带水果之一。福建和台湾地区称之为旺梨或者旺来(ông-lâi),新马一带称为黄梨,大陆及香港称作菠萝。有70多个品种,岭南四大名果之一。
菠萝原产于南美洲巴西、巴拉圭的亚马逊河流域一带,16世纪从巴西传入中国。 现在已经流传到整个热带地区。
其可食部分主要由肉质增大之花序轴、螺旋状排列于外周的花组成,花通常不结实,宿存的花被裂片围成一空腔,腔内藏有萎缩的雄蕊和花柱。叶的纤维甚坚韧,可供织物、制绳、结网和造纸。
3.木瓜
木瓜学名番木瓜,又名万寿果,是岭南四大名果之一,素有“岭南果王”的称号。
木瓜原产墨西哥,17世纪时传入我国,现广东各地均有栽培,而以广州市郊最为集中。木瓜是番木瓜科常绿软木性乔木,与香蕉、菠萝同称为“热带三大草本果树”。
其果形长圆丰满,肉厚籽少,有桂花香味。木瓜果实硕大,其果重一二公斤,大的可达六七公斤。其果鲜食,口味美好,营养丰富;还可炖食,冰糖炖木瓜可清心润肺,医治喉炎等疾患;未成熟的木瓜可糖渍,作蔬菜煲汤食用,或腌制成“咸酸木瓜”等。
4.香蕉
香蕉是岭南四大名果之一。栽培中数量仅次于柑橘、荔枝、菠萝。我国栽种香蕉有2000多年历史,广东除东莞、中山、新会、顺德之外,还有番禺和广州市郊。
香蕉是芭蕉科多年生常绿大型草本果树,每株抽蕾结果一次,每株香蕉生十余梳,每梳果实10-15只。其果肉软甜可口,独具香气,有润肠通便、降低血压、防止血管硬化等功效。

2. Pineapple
It is one of the tropical fruits. Fujian and Taiwan call it Wangli or Wanglai (ông-lâi), Singapore and Malaysia call it Huangli, and mainland China and Hong Kong call it Pineapple. There are more than 70 varieties, one of the four famous fruits in Lingnan.
Pineapple is native to the Amazon River Basin in Brazil and Paraguay in South America. It was introduced to China from Brazil in the 16th century. Now it has spread to the entire tropical region.
Its edible part is mainly composed of the fleshy enlarged inflorescence axis and the flowers arranged spirally on the periphery. The flowers are usually not strong, and the persistent perianth lobes surround a cavity, which contains atrophied stamens and styles. The fiber of the leaves is very tough and can be used for weaving, rope making, netting and papermaking.
3. Papaya
Papaya is scientifically known as papaya, also known as longevity fruit. It is one of the four famous fruits in Lingnan and is known as the "King of Lingnan Fruit".
Papaya is native to Mexico and was introduced to my country in the 17th century. It is now cultivated in various parts of Guangdong, and is most concentrated in the suburbs of Guangzhou. Papaya is an evergreen cork tree of the papaya family. It is called the "three major tropical herbaceous fruit trees" together with bananas and pineapples.
Its fruit is oblong and plump, with thick flesh and few seeds, and has the fragrance of osmanthus. Papaya fruits are huge, weighing one or two kilograms, and large ones can reach six or seven kilograms. The fruit is eaten fresh, tastes good, and is rich in nutrition; it can also be stewed. 4. Banana
Banana is one of the four famous fruits in Lingnan. The number of cultivated bananas is second only to citrus, lychee, and pineapple. my country has a history of more than 2,000 years of banana cultivation. In addition to Dongguan, Zhongshan, Xinhui, and Shunde, Guangdong also has Panyu and the suburbs of Guangzhou.
