Jeff Bezos, male, born in 1964, American, graduated from Princeton University, founder of Internet giant Amazon, one of the major shareholders of The Washington Post.

In 1986, he joined FITEL, a high-tech development company in New York.

In 1988, he joined Bankers Trust Co on Wall Street as vice president.

From 1990 to 1994, he established D.E. Shaw & Co, a hedge fund trading management company.

In 1995, he established Cadabra online bookstore, which was later renamed Amazon and reopened in July of the same year.

In May 1997, the company's stock was listed, and Amazon became one of the most successful e-commerce websites in the world.

In 1999, he was elected as the Person of the Year by Time magazine and was one of the "25 Most Influential People in the Internet Age" selected by Business Weekly.

In May 2018, Forbes published the list of the world's most influential people in 2018, and Jeff Bezos ranked first.

In April 2020, he ranked first on the 2020 Forbes Global Billionaires List with a fortune of $113 billion.

On August 26, 2020, Jeff Bezos' personal assets reached $202 billion, making him the world's first $200 billion billionaire.

On July 5, 2021, he stepped down as CEO of Amazon.
