Aloe vera is native to tropical arid regions in Africa and is found almost all over the world. Wild aloe vera is found in India and Malaysia, the African continent, and tropical regions. Aloe vera is cultivated in Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and other places in China, and there are also wild species. There are at least 300 wild species of aloe vera, of which about 250 are found in Africa, about 40 in Madagascar, and the remaining 10 are found in Arabia and other places.
