The Amazon River is the pride of the Latin American people. It is mighty and winding, winding through Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, nourishing 8 million square kilometers of vast land, giving birth to the world's largest tropical rainforest, making the Amazon River Basin the world's most recognized and mysterious "Kingdom of Life".
The banks of the Amazon River are densely forested. The abundant rainfall, hot and humid climate and long periods of strong sunshine provide unique conditions for the growth of plants in the Amazon River Basin, making this area the world's largest tropical rainforest area, with a forest area of 300 million hectares, accounting for 1/3 of the world's existing tropical rainforests, of which 87% are in Brazil. It is rich in natural resources, diverse species, complex ecological environment, and well-preserved biodiversity. It is known as the "paradise of biological scientists" and the "lungs of the earth".
