There are no hummingbirds in Yunnan, not even in China, not in the whole of Asia, and there are no hummingbirds in the Old World: hummingbirds need to live in a hot environment with pollen all year round, and in a hot tropical rain forest.

Distribution range of hummingbirds: Various hummingbirds are distributed in the hottest areas of the New World, mainly in South America. They are numerous, but seem to be active only between the two tropical tropics. Some expand their range of activities to the temperate zone in summer, but they only stay for a short time. Habitat of hummingbirds: Hummingbirds live in a wide range in the Americas, from the Andes Mountains up to 4,000 meters to the tropical rain forests of the Amazon River. Some hummingbirds live in dry shrub forests, and some live in humid swamps.
