There are several major logistics companies for local delivery in the Middle East:

1. Aramex

Aramex is a 35-year-old Middle Eastern courier company. According to Aramex officials, 80% of local deliveries in the Middle East are completed by them. Aramex's advantage lies in its long-term accumulation. Relying on the historical big data left by serving in Arab countries for more than 30 years, Aramex uses its own system to match the user's actual address through name, phone number, email address, etc., and then delivers it.

In order to solve the problem of unclear addresses, Aramex does not hire a large number of Indians and Pakistanis, but mainly hires local people in the Middle East for delivery. Local people are more familiar with the local area, communication is smoother, and the rejection rate can be effectively reduced.

Aramex attaches great importance to the logistics exchanges between China and the Middle East.

In early 2012, Aramex and Sinotrans Air Transport Development Co., Ltd. jointly established Sinotrans Aramex International Air Express Co., Ltd., focusing on providing services for Chinese sellers to open up the Middle East market.

2. Fetchr

Fetchr is a company headquartered in Dubai and founded by French-Iraqi ldriss. In May 2017, it announced that it had received $41 million in Series B financing. Fetchr's core competitiveness is its "mobile Internet logistics solution".

Fetchr believes that although the address is unclear, more than 80% of users in the Middle East have smartphones. Therefore, they use technical means to allow users to locate on Google Maps after downloading the Fetchr application, so Fetchr's couriers can deliver packages through GPS positioning.

Fetchr provides standard same-day and next-day delivery services; in terms of 2B, Fetchr allows users to arrange multiple orders at a time; Fetchr also cooperates with UPS and FedEx to undertake the delivery of US orders; in addition, Fetchr has also undertaken DHL's on-site delivery in the Middle East.

Fetchr's business has covered many countries in the Middle East, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Fetchr has gradually realized the importance of Chinese merchants and started to consider organizational structures and talent structures that are more in line with the needs of Chinese customers.

3. Q Express

Souq, the largest local e-commerce company, has encountered the challenge of last-mile delivery since its inception and has been looking for solutions in local delivery. Q Express is a logistics company built by Souq, which specializes in providing last-mile delivery services for Souq. Currently, all orders on the Souq platform are delivered by Q Express. Souq buyers can enter the order number and track the logistics status on Q Express.

Q Express stated on its official website that their advantage is to provide cash on delivery (COD) services that most logistics companies do not provide; in addition, all Q Express couriers carry PDA devices to update the status of goods delivery at any time; Q Express has multiple transportation outlets in the Middle East to facilitate the receipt, delivery and return of goods.

4. iMile.me

The founding team of iMile.me is from China and is based in Dubai. It focuses on providing last-mile delivery for Chinese e-commerce sellers and strives to solve the problem of cash on delivery. iMile's core competitiveness lies in providing a complete set of tailor-made solutions for Chinese sellers to go overseas to the Middle East, and it understands both China and the Middle East.

iMile currently has overseas warehouses and its own delivery team in Dubai, providing value-added services including air freight first leg, local direct delivery, overseas warehouse forwarding, professional customer service pre-delivery screening, etc. iMile uses its own personnel for delivery in the UAE, and delivers on the same day in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, covering seven emirates in the UAE.

Unlike the above logistics companies, Wing.ae itself does not have couriers. It is a B2B service platform that plays the role of a connector between e-commerce and express delivery.

Currently, this platform mainly handles small tasks from envelopes to standard packaging. The service is not limited to the Souq platform itself, but is open to all merchants and express delivery companies.

6. One Click

Founded in 2015, One Click is a technology platform created by Hassan Hallas. It connects drivers with businesses that need to provide delivery services. Its entire delivery and payment process is supported by technology. The platform currently has delivery management functions, GPS location tracking, route optimization, automatic notification to customers and other functions.

At the end of December 2017, OneClick announced that it had received investment from MEVP. Based on the average investment amount of MEVP, the investment amount should be over several million US dollars, or even more.
