2. Battery MSDS: Material Safety Data Sheet

It can also be converted into chemical safety specifications or chemical safety data specifications. Chemical manufacturers and importers are used to describe the physical and chemical properties of chemicals (such as PH value, flash point, flammability, reactivity, etc.) and the health status of users (such as cancer, congenital defects, etc.) The hazards of the documents that may produce many customers encounter such problems, MSDS can be written by the manufacturer in accordance with relevant rules. However, in order to ensure the accuracy and standardization of the report, we can apply to professional organizations for compilation.

3. Air/sea transport identification report:

For battery-related products from China (except Hong Kong), the final air transport identification report must be verified and issued by a dangerous goods identification agency directly authorized by the Civil Aviation Administration.

EU region:

EU Battery Directive: When products with batteries enter Europe, they must comply with the requirements of the EU Battery Directive; for batteries in electrical and electronic equipment, they should meet the recycling requirements in the WEEE Directive and the restriction of hazardous substances in the RoHS Directive. In addition, the regulations on battery and hazardous chemical registration in REACH should be met. There are no mandatory regulatory requirements for battery performance and safety, mainly EU standards for battery performance and safety requirements. Now Amazon Germany FBA requires that products must have WEEE before they can be put on the shelves.

US FBA:

UL standard certification: Applicable to North America, mainly used for safety testing, and the certification cycle is usually about 2 months (slightly shorter for lead-acid batteries). UL is the drafting agency for relevant standards in the United States. If consumers have adverse consequences due to product quality problems after purchasing products with the UL mark, they can complain to the seller, and the seller can easily obtain compensation from the insurance company. This is mainly because products sold through UL are easy to sell in North America. Of course, UL is not the only certification body. We can find laboratories with NRTL qualifications, such as ETL and TUV, which can issue UL certificates.

Other places:

China: CCC has not yet implemented mandatory certification for battery monomers, but for products with batteries, the battery is required to have relevant test content of CQC non-mandatory certification. Japan: PSE battery certification; relevant batteries in South Korea need to pass KC certification.
