Differences between the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River:
1. Different in nature
Yangtze River: The Yangtze River is named after the ancient Yangzijin Ferry. The river is wide, deep, and has big waves, and is strongly affected by the tides. From Zhenjiang, the Yangtze River enters the delta section, of which the section below Jiangyin is the estuary section, and the river surface continues to expand into a trumpet. Before the Yangtze River enters the sea, it accepts the last tributary, the Huangpu River. The river is wide and deep, and a 10,000-ton ocean-going ship can go up to Nanjing.
Yangtze River: The Yangtze River originates from the southwest side of the Geladandong Peak of the Tanggula Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the "Roof of the World", and is the mother river of the Chinese nation.
The main stream flows through 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Shanghai, and flows into the East China Sea east of Chongming Island. It is more than 6,300 kilometers long, more than 800 kilometers longer than the Yellow River. Among the world's major rivers, it is second only to the Nile River in Africa and the Amazon River in South America, ranking third in the world.
2. Different climates
Yangtze River: The climate type is subtropical monsoon climate.
Yangtze River: The Yangtze River Basin has a warm climate and abundant rainfall. Due to its vast territory and large terrain changes, it has a variety of climate types. Natural disasters such as floods, waterlogging, droughts and hail often occur. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River have distinct four seasons, cold winters and hot summers, with an average annual temperature of 16-18℃, the highest temperature in summer is around 40℃, and the lowest temperature in winter is around minus 4℃.
There is no difference, just different names. The Yangtze River is the mother river of China. It originates from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and flows into the East China Sea. It is more than 6,300 kilometers long. Many provinces and cities will call the Yangtze River in their area by another name. The section of the Yangtze River in Nanjing is renamed the Yangtze River.
The Yangtze River is a small section of the Yangtze River.
The surging Yangtze River flows through the Jiangyin area of Jiangsu. The river is wide and flows directly to the east to the sea. This section of the river is called the Yangtze River.
As the mother river of the motherland, the Yangtze River has many beautiful names. For example, the upper reaches are called the Jinsha River, which is called the Chuanjiang River after entering Sichuan and Chongqing, and is called the Xiajiang River by boatmen after entering the Three Gorges. The section of the Yangtze River entering the Jianghan Plain is called the Jingjiang River. Each section of the river has a wonderful name and is also a magical legend.
The Yangtze River is also a part of the Yangtze River, usually called the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River flows through the sky, and some areas in Yangzhou are called the Yangtze River by locals. Therefore, in terms of name, they refer to the same river, but in terms of range, the Yangtze River is wider than the Yangtze River.
The Yangtze River is a main stream in the Yangtze River Basin, known for its deep water, wide river, and large waves. Its climate is subtropical monsoon climate. The Yangtze River is the largest river in China (including the Yangtze River), and is a general term for the entire Yangtze River Basin. It is vast, has a warm climate, and abundant rainfall. The two also have different sources.
