The Great Plains of America have suitable geographical conditions, flat terrain, abundant rainfall in the dry season, and natural conditions suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry.
The Yangtze River-Yellow River Plain in Asia is based on two major rivers as the source of life. It is located on rich and fertile land and is suitable for growing crops such as rice and wheat. However, many plains have been affected by environmental pollution and human activities, leading to irreversible ecological and environmental crises.
Characteristics of plains: flat and wide. A plain is a large area with flat ground or small undulations, mainly distributed on both sides of large rivers and in areas bordering the ocean. There are two types of plains: independent plains, which are one of the five basic landforms in the world, such as the Yangtze River Lower Reaches Plain.
