Existing sellers must complete the deposit procedure and accept the relevant commitment letter before they can continue to sell on the platform; new registered sellers must also pay a deposit and confirm their acceptance of the commitment letter on the basis of the original qualification review, and they can open a store after the review is passed. The deposit policy for sellers in the categories of personal care and health, beauty and cosmetics, mother and baby, toys, pets, and music will be implemented from January 21, 2015.

From October 1, 2014, Amazon decided to implement an invitation policy for sellers selling office supplies (HP printing consumables products).

Invited sellers will only be eligible to be invited to sell the above brands of products on the Amazon platform after providing complete and valid direct authorization documents and passing the review.

Sellers who are not invited will not be able to sell the above brands of products on the Amazon platform (Amazon has the right to change from time to time). The food and alcohol seller deposit policy will be implemented from September 18, 2014.
