Ebay
七、竞争速卖通,wish以“价格为王”,卖家一定要价格低才能有优势;
AliExpress, Amazon, Ebay and Wish all have their own advantages. We can compare and analyze the differences between these four major e-commerce platforms from the following ten aspects.
1. The threshold for opening a store
Ebay, AliExpress, Wish, the threshold is not high, and most people can succeed. Amazon's threshold is relatively much higher, so there is currently a big gap in opening a store on Amazon in China.
2. Materials needed to open a store
When registering with Ebay and Amazon, you need a lot of things, such as invoices for the items you are about to sell (to prove that you have enough ability to ship), bank statements or utility bills, etc. Among them, Amazon professional sellers and eBay corporate accounts need to provide a limited company's business license) AliExpress and Wish are relatively simpler, and an ID card is enough.
3. Cost of opening a store
Ebay is free, but if you put a product on the shelf, you will be charged a listing fee, ranging from 0.03$-2$, divided into store sellers and non-store sellers. The auction commission is above 9%, with a cap of 250$.
AliExpress and Wish are free, and there is no fee for listing products, and there is no rent. AliExpress commission is 5%, Wish commission is 15%, Amazon professional sellers are monthly rent, and the monthly store fee is 39.9 dollars, and there is no fee for listing products. Individual sellers do not have a monthly rent, and each product is charged 0.99 cents. Each product requires a UPC code, and the commission is 8-15%.
4. Store review cycle
Ebay's review cycle is very long. At the beginning, you can only list five products, and they can only be auctioned. When you have more credit points, you can sell products with a fixed price. It takes a long time to increase your credit points, which is very annoying.
Wish and Amazon are relatively easy, and the review usually takes two days to a week.
5. Restrictions on products
On AliExpress, unless there are complaints from brand owners, second- and third-tier brands are generally fine.
Ebay and Wish are a little stricter in checking. As far as I know, the threshold for counterfeit brands and imitation styles is relatively loose. Amazon is really strict about products. Many products are restricted from sale. If there are complaints about counterfeit brands and imitation styles, infringements and brand owners, and complaints about follow-selling, the store will be closed in serious cases. Amazon has an explanation for this.
6. Order cycle
On Amazon, as long as the product is good, the order cycle is very fast. Almost if it is put on the shelves today, there will be orders tomorrow.
Ebay needs to accumulate reputation before it can officially sell products. What a painful process.
As long as the price is low, it is easy to get orders on AliExpress and Wish. AliExpress has a large number of orders, while Wish has less traffic.
Seventh, in competition with AliExpress, Wish is "price is king", and sellers must have low prices to have an advantage;
eBay has stricter requirements for sellers and higher requirements for product quality, but it also competes on price, that is, the product quality must be acceptable and the price must be advantageous; the rules are more biased towards buyers.
Among the five platforms, Amazon has the highest requirements for sellers. It is product-driven, that is, the product quality must have an advantage, and it must also have a brand. Amazon is the most serious about brands and wants to build a brand. "Amazon blocks most Chinese people. Amazon has a high reputation in the United States. People prefer to choose the platform to shop rather than the website. That's why the prices on Amazon are much higher than those on Ebay.
Eighth, payment
Ebay has its own payment channel, PayPal, which is very simple and it is not difficult to withdraw cash. But the handling fee is very high, about 4%. Amazon payment can be made with P card, WF card, CD card
Wish payment, P card, Yilian payment (a Chinese bank account is required), BILL
AliExpress payment has international Alipay and Chinese bank account
Ninth, sales category
Amazon: new, refurbished and second-hand goods, comprehensive category
Ebay: As long as the items do not violate the law or are on eBay's prohibited sales list, they can be listed for sale on eBay. Services and virtual items are also within the scope of items that can be sold.
< p>AliExpress: mainly clothing and accessories, mobile communications, beauty care, jewelry and watches, computers, etc.Wish: comprehensive with all categories, including clothing, accessories, maternal and child products, 3C, mainly women's products, and the user group is 15-30 years old white-collar workers
X. Targeted Market
Amazon is divided into 14 sites: North America (the United States, Canada, Mexico), Europe (the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain), South America (Brazil), Oceania (Australia), Asia (China, Japan, India)
EBAY: sub-sites: (the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, China (Hong Kong), Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey.)
