1. Yangtze River Basin

The Yangtze River Basin refers to the vast area where the Yangtze River mainstream and tributaries flow through, spanning the three major economic zones of eastern, central and western China, with a total of 19 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. It is the third largest river basin in the world, with a total basin area of ​​1.8 million square kilometers, accounting for 18.8% of China's land area. There are rich natural resources in the basin.

2. Yellow River Basin

The Yellow River, known as the Great River in ancient China, originates from the Bayan Har Mountains in Qinghai Province, China, flows through nine provinces and regions including Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan and Shandong, and finally flows into the Bohai Sea in Kenli County, Dongying City, Shandong Province.

The Yellow River is 5,464 kilometers long, second only to the Yangtze River, making it the second longest river in China and the sixth longest river in the world. In Chinese history, the Yellow River and its coastal basins have had a huge impact on human civilization. It is the most important birthplace of the Chinese nation. The Chinese people call it the "Mother River" in colloquial language.

3. Pearl River Basin

Pearl River Basin, the Pearl River is China's second largest river and the third longest river. The annual runoff of the river is more than 349.2 billion cubic meters, ranking second in the country's river system, second only to the Yangtze River, and 6 times the annual runoff of the Yellow River. It is 2,320 kilometers long and has a basin area of ​​about 440,000 square kilometers. It is the third longest river in China.

The Pearl River includes three major tributaries, the West River, the North River and the East River. Among them, the West River is the longest and is usually called the main trunk of the Pearl River. The Pearl River is a large river in southern my country, flowing through Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi and other provinces (regions) and the northeast of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The basin area is 453,690 square kilometers, of which 442,100 square kilometers are in my country.

4. Huaihe River Basin

The source of the Huaihe River is located in Checun Town, Song County, Henan Province. The uppermost stream of the Huaihe River is called Dongshagou. The source coordinates are 111 degrees 59 minutes 46 seconds east longitude and 33 degrees 49 minutes 55 seconds north latitude. The source elevation is 1,329 meters. The Huaihe River flows through Henan, Hubei, Anhui, and Jiangsu provinces, and flows into the river in the south of Sanjiangying and into the sea in the north. The total length is about 1,252 kilometers, with a total drop of about 200 meters.

The Huaihe River can be divided into three parts: the upper reaches, the middle reaches, and the lower reaches. The upper reaches above Honghekou are 360 ​​kilometers long, with a ground drop of 980 meters and a basin area of ​​31,000 square kilometers; the middle reaches below Honghekou to Zhongdu, the exit of Hongze Lake, are 490 kilometers long, with a ground drop of 16 meters, and the basin area above Zhongdu is 158,000 square kilometers; the lower reaches below Zhongdu to Sanjiangying are the Huaihe River waterway into the river, which is 150 kilometers long and has a ground drop of about 6 meters.
