Reading Breaking Out of the Amazon again, I have an indescribable feeling in my heart.
I am proud that China has such excellent, steel-like soldiers, and I am moved by their actions of winning glory for the country at all costs, which arouses my strong patriotism.
This book reflects the glorious deeds of two Chinese soldiers who went beyond their limits to win glory for the country.
The story took place in 1999 and tells a touching story about two special forces soldiers of our army, Lieutenant Wang Hui and soldier Hu Xiaolong, who defeated strong opponents from various countries and won glory for the country and the army during their training at the "Hunter School" in the Amazon Basin of America.
The book creates two vivid characters with flesh and blood and personality, and deeply portrays the strong, brave and superhuman will of Chinese soldiers.
One of the sentences is: "Here, the two of us are China.
Since you are here, you can't regret it.
"The Chinese have backbone." I have heard this sentence many times and read a lot of articles about it, but I don't fully understand its connotation.
After I read the book "Breaking Out of the Amazon", I deeply understood the true meaning of this sentence.
One of the scenes that shocked my soul: during a live-fire exercise, the "enemy" caught Wang Hui and others, whipped them with a whip, and hung them up and put them in the water, trying to make them say who the commander was.
But Wang Hui endured the huge pain of his skin and flesh, and didn't say a word. At the same time, he said to Hu Xiaolong: "Here, the two of us are China." I couldn't help but have a deep admiration for them, and that beautiful sentence echoed in my ears again and again-"Here, the two of us are China."
Yes! As Chinese people, as descendants of Yan and Huang, we must remember those heroes who would rather die standing than live on their knees.
Remember their backbone, learn from their noble character, be a Chinese who stands tall and upright, and let the world remember: Chinese people are always a dragon! Reference
