Breaking out of the Amazon is a modern military action film adapted and filmed by the Bayi Film Studio based on real people and real stories. The Amazon is an ancient river in Venezuela, South America. The United Nations took advantage of the harsh climate and difficult environment here and established an international special forces training center, code-named "Hunter School". Wang Yalin and Hu Huaguo, two young lieutenants of a special forces battalion of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Airborne Force, participated in the anti-guerrilla training of the "Hunter School" organized by the international military organization. They experienced a cruel test that was almost inhumane, successfully completed the training tasks of 38 subjects, and finally won the "International Anti-Guerrilla Warfare Team Member" Medal of Honor.
