I recommend the series of books called "The Adventures of Hal Roger". The author is the British writer Willard Price, who is a naturalist employed by the American Museum of Natural History and the Geographical Society. His life's work is to conduct adventurous scientific expeditions around the world, and he created this set of adventure novels based on his observations and experiences at work.

Although "The Adventures of Hal Roger" is children's literature, it is indeed very well written. The rich knowledge of wild animals in it is also fresh to adults. It is one of my favorite novels in my youth. The book has a total of 14 volumes, including "Amazon Adventure", "South China Sea Adventure", "Undersea Treasure Hunt", "African Adventure", "Catching White Elephants", "Suppressing Bandits in the Hunting Ground", "Tracking Man-eating Lions", etc. It is said that there are also expeditions to the Arctic, but unfortunately I haven't collected them all.
