(Amazon)
1. Amazon
Amazon is the largest online e-commerce company in the United States, located in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the earliest companies to start e-commerce on the Internet. Amazon was founded in 1995. At the beginning, it mainly sold books, including the establishment of Amazon China, but it has withdrawn from the Chinese market. At present, it has become the online retailer with the most product varieties in the world and the leading e-commerce company in the United States.
2. eBay
eBay is similar to Taobao. The store operation is relatively simple, and it is free to open a store. The threshold is low and it is suitable for all kinds of sellers. However, there are more procedures to be handled in the entry process. eBay has 37 independent sites and portals in the world. The main sales sites in the world are: US site, UK site, Australia site, Germany site, France site, and China site. It covers more than 190 countries and regions, nearly 300 million users, and supports 23 languages worldwide. At present, there are more than 160 million shoppers and more than 1 billion products on eBay.
3. AliExpress
AliExpress was launched in April 2010 and is the only online trading platform under Alibaba that is designed for the global market. AliExpress is open to overseas buyers and conducts guaranteed transactions through Alipay international accounts.
In its global strategy, AliExpress focuses on the blank spots of Amazon and eBay, that is, entering the e-commerce field in underdeveloped countries and regions, such as Russia and Southeast Asia, where the economic level is relatively backward and e-commerce is still in its infancy.
Sellers who choose AliExpress must formulate sales strategies for the target market. High cost-effectiveness, low prices, low-cost logistics and even ordinary e-commerce services can meet the needs of the target market. In addition, it is difficult for AliExpress to create a hit, so the long tail theory is particularly suitable for AliExpress.
