Registration process for North American site

1. Click to log in to Amazon's official website gs.amazon.cn to register, and select the North American site to register

(Note: Please note that during the registration process, all information should be filled in in Pinyin or English!!!)

2. Create a user and enter the email address as required

3. Fill in the account name, email address, and create a user password.

4. For company users, fill in the company registration name in English or Pinyin. For individual users, fill in the personal name in English or Pinyin. Check to agree to the relevant agreement.

5. Continue to enter the seller information in Pinyin or English

6. Enter the credit card information;

①Please use a dual-currency credit card that can pay in US dollars

②Visa and Master cards are both acceptable

③Confirm whether the default address information is the same as the credit card billing address. If different, please fill in the address in English or Pinyin

④The credit card holder and the account registrant do not need to be the same person; personal credit cards can also be used for corporate accounts

⑤If the information is filled in correctly, the system will try to pre-authorize the credit card to verify that the credit card has a credit limit, and the cardholder may receive a pre-authorization reminder from the issuing bank.

⑥You can change the credit card information at any time during the registration and account operation process

⑦This credit card is used when your seller account balance is insufficient to offset the relevant amount during account settlement, and the system will deduct the monthly fee or other sales fees from your credit card.

⑧If you receive a notification that the credit card information registered in your seller account is invalid, please check the following information:

Billing address. This address must be exactly the same as the billing address on the credit card statement.

Check with the bank where you opened the account to confirm that your credit card has not expired, has sufficient credit limit, and there are no restrictions on online deductions for rejected amounts.

7. Verify phone number - You can use the phone call or SMS to get the verification code

Click "Contact me now" and you will receive a call from the system. Then the computer will display a 4-digit number. Pick up the phone and enter the 4-digit number. End with # to complete the verification. Please note: Many times the system will have problems and the verification will fail. Please change your number or SMS verification after trying twice. It will take 1 hour to continue after 3 unsuccessful attempts.

8. Conduct a tax audit

The US tax audit is a self-service audit process that will guide you to enter your identity information to confirm whether your account is subject to US-related taxes. Most of the identity information will be extracted from the information you previously filled in and pre-filled. In order to meet the requirements of the US tax department as efficiently as possible, please make sure to answer all questions and enter all required information during the audit process. Chinese sellers must also complete this audit process to complete the registration process.

8.1 Start tax identity verification

8.3 Select the nature of the beneficiary – company or individual

If your account is a company, please confirm your company's mailing address

If your account is an individual, after confirming your mailing address, please confirm that you do not meet any of the items along the way.

9. After completing the above steps, congratulations! Account registration is complete and you can enter the seller backend to manage it.
