淘宝早先是B2C结合C2C,没有B2B,阿里巴巴是专业B2B平台。B2C是商家对客户,B2B是商家对商家,淘宝网的主营业务就是商家对客户的销售,阿里巴巴主营才是商家对商家的电商平台。
2011年6月16日,阿里巴巴集团旗下淘宝公司分拆为三个独立的公司,即沿袭原C2C业务的淘宝网(taobao),平台型B2C电子商务服务商淘宝商城(tmall)和一站式购物搜索引擎一淘网(etao)。
淘宝网是亚太地区较大的网络零售、商圈,由阿里巴巴集团在2003年5月创立。淘宝网是中国深受欢迎的网购零售平台,拥有近5亿的注册用户数,每天有超过6000万的固定访客,同时每天的在线商品数已经超过了8亿件,平均每分钟售出4.8万件商品。

Therefore, it can be said that Taobao has both C2C and B2C models, and there is no B2C model
