在2003年左右的时候,淘宝正在和ebye进行厮杀战斗,如果那会儿淘宝要是输了,我们今天就绝对看不到淘宝和天猫了。
那会淘宝对ebye不论从那个方面都绝对的处于劣势,资金、经验、人才等等,而且是实力上非常非常悬殊的一场较量。
不过那会ebye主张的是b2c,而我们淘宝的带头人马云当时就说:“中国市场上,现在还是c2c,我们要到b2c的话,起码要等10年!“
事后证明马云对市场做出的判断是正确的,他非常准确的预测了中国电商未来的10年。
也就是说差不多2013年之前,我们还都是c2c的平台模式,这个时间段当中淘宝可能略胜天猫一筹,当然天猫也是到了2008年(前身是淘宝商标)成立的。

Personally, I think Tmall has a better future.
1. The biggest difference between Taobao and Tmall is that Tmall merchants are more standardized. In fact, the source of goods may be the same as Taobao.
