1. Register your own account on Taobao

We first enter the homepage of Taobao. After opening this website, click "Free registration". You can choose to register with your mobile phone number or email. We usually choose "Email registration", fill in all the information, click "Agree to the agreement and submit registration information", if there is no accident, the website prompts that the registration is successful.

2. Perform Alipay real-name authentication

This authentication has increased the complexity of opening an online store to a certain extent, but it has greatly increased the security of the entire Taobao transaction. In the past, you must upload your ID card and wait for Taobao to manually verify it.

3. Taobao store authentication

Enter the "Seller Center" page, click "I want to open a store" or "Free store", and you can start the store authentication. The store authentication includes Alipay real-name authentication and uploading real personal photos.

4. Pass the store opening test

Before the test, you need to choose the industry you are going to operate. There are 30 questions in total. You need to answer 25 questions correctly to pass. If you fail the test, you need to retake the test until you pass before you can open a store.

5. Set up basic store information

Click "Fill in store information" to complete the store information, check the box that you agree to abide by the product release rules and Taobao rules and agree to sign the consumer protection agreement, and click "Save".
