2016年4月13日,饿了么与阿里巴巴及蚂蚁金服正式达成战略合作协议,获得12.5亿美元投资。

2015.11 Ele.me and Didi Chuxing have landed their cooperation. In the future, the two parties will work together to build a "2+4" same-city delivery network of two-wheeled electric vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles.
On December 17, 2015, Ele.me and Alibaba signed an investment framework agreement. Alibaba invested $1.25 billion in Ele.me. After the investment, Ele.me's valuation exceeded $4.5 billion and it continued to operate independently.
After this round of investment, Alibaba held a 27.7% stake in Ele.me, becoming the largest shareholder.
On April 13, 2016, Ele.me officially reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba and Ant Financial, and received $1.25 billion in investment.
Among them, Alibaba invested $900 million and Ant Financial invested $350 million.

On October 12, 2018, Alibaba Group announced the official establishment of the local life service company. Ele.me and Koubei will merge to form the leading local life service platform in China. Alibaba Group partner Wang Lei (nickname Kunyang) will serve as the president of Alibaba Local Life Service Company and concurrently the CEO of Ele.me.
