Hangzhou Chengxi is a general term, and it should correspond to the specific administrative divisions. The area west of Fengtan Road and north of Wenyi West Road is the Yuhang area, and the rest is the Xihu District area.

Currently, due to the entry of Alibaba and the operation of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City (Haichuang Park), Chengxi is more often referred to as the area west of Gudun Road in Xihu District to Yuhang Town and Zhongtai Town.

In addition, with the development of the Chengxi Science and Technology Innovation Corridor project of the provincial government, Chengxi can also cover the area west to Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City and east to Gudun Road.
