Ye Shuhua, female, was born on June 21, 1927 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. She is an astronomer, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher, doctoral supervisor, and former director of the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Su Dingqiang, native of Wujin, Jiangsu Province, was born in Shanghai in June 1936. He is an astronomer, optical engineering expert, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (academician), professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University, researcher of Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, tenured professor of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, honorary professor of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and adjunct professor of the Department of Astronomy of Beijing Normal University.

Huang Runqian (1933.12.5-2013.10.10) was born in Hengshan County, Hunan Province. He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Chinese astronomer and astrophysicist, and a pioneer in China's research on stellar structure and evolution.

Zhao Yongheng, male, was born in Zhangbei County, Hebei Province in February 1964. He is currently a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a doctoral supervisor, a member of the Party Committee, a professor at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a professor at Shandong University, the general manager of the LAMOST project, a major national scientific project, and the chief scientist of the Xinglong Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory. He is the former director of the Astronomy Discipline Center of the World Data Center.
