My hometown is located in the plateau of northwestern Hebei Province, Bashang area, connected to Inner Mongolia, 1,300 meters above sea level, with flat terrain and a long history. That is my hometown - Zhangbei County, Hebei Province.

There is a famous tourist attraction in my hometown, which has a resounding name "Sky Road". It is a place with steep altitude, peculiar terrain, and white clouds within reach. It is also a good place with unlimited scenery. It is cool and refreshing here in summer, without mosquitoes and far away from haze. You can make an appointment with three or five friends and bring your family to enjoy this beautiful scenery.

The beauty of the Sky Road can be seen everywhere. When you stand on the asphalt road at the entrance, your mood suddenly becomes clear. The blue sky is studded with white clouds; the sea of ​​flowers and windmills on both sides are bathed in the sun and come into view, beautiful and spectacular; foals and camels of all sizes are strolling, waiting for you to ride; the earth is covered with endless green, like a green ocean; the ground is uneven, undulating like waves; the spectacular electric windmills in the distance are like white giants, working hard in rows under the watch of everyone. This is the station of the "Power Supply Base Camp of Beijing, the Capital", which comes from my hometown.

From a distance, the sky and the earth seem to overlap, and the blue sky, white clouds and grasslands are integrated as if placed in a painting. The winding Tianlu is like a perfect curve like a function, so it is called "Tianlu". It may be the peaks and ground that the Creator has already chosen, and it is very popular.

Although the grassland here is not as wide as the Hulunbuir grassland, it is also a vast expanse of fertile land, green grass all over the mountains, and cattle and sheep dotted all over the place. When I was a child, this place was a different scene of "wind blowing grass low and seeing cattle and sheep".

As the sun sets, the red sun shines obliquely on the yurts, with unique patterns. This is where tourists experience rest, like a hill, with torches lit next to them, roasting whole lambs, eating picked wild mushrooms dipped in oatmeal, and all kinds of delicious food, which you have never seen before, and will make your mouth water.

If you come here in mid-July, the music festival 20 kilometers away from the county town will be a three-day carnival. It is a luxurious music festival. The wonderful performances of stars from all over the world will surely satisfy young, excited, and passionate friends. There will be equestrian performances, acrobatics, bonfire parties, and iron tree blossoms in the grassland. As the cool night breeze blows freely, the whole grassland is immersed in a sea of ​​song and dance, which will surely make you linger.

Suddenly I remembered the years when I lived in Beijing, renting a house outside the Fourth Ring Road of Beijing. It used to be a place for growing vegetables and farming. Now it is being renovated and expanded. They have also transformed themselves and built houses to rent to people who live in Beijing, so they are much more proud.

Whenever I was asked where I was from, I would always purse my lips, shake my big head and say: That is the place closest to the capital and the poorest. There are no cattle and sheep on the hills of Inner Mongolia, and there are no resources and factories and mines in the south. I can only farm and work.

At that moment, I was filled with indignation, and I could only be domineering: You are lucky, born at the feet of the emperor, you don’t have to work, and one year’s rent is enough for two years, so you have to sit and wait for old age. We have no choice, and the elders and fellow villagers rely on their own hands to build our home. In fact, Zhangbei is no longer what it was in the 1960s and 1970s. You can gallop on the wide roads; you can watch the experimental fields and farmers; tall buildings are everywhere; Yili milk is produced here; Alibaba data center is opened here; the largest wind power generation in China, photovoltaic power generation is transmitted here. Don't be proud, the electricity you use and the food you eat all come from us. Zhangjiakou is the back garden of the capital, and Zhangbei is the pavilion in the garden. There are already too many outsiders who travel and settle here.
