吴炯是风和投资管理公司创始合伙人,阿里巴巴集团第一任CTO/天使投资人,雅虎公司(美国)技术专利发明人,是汉庭、聚美优品、聚光科技和挂号网的早期主要投资人,并被评为创业邦2014年中国年度天使投资人。
吴炯于1997年结识马云,在2000初成为阿里巴巴的天使投资人,并且于2000年5月正式加入阿里巴巴,担任阿里巴巴集团首席技术官。他在阿里巴巴领导开发了阿里B2B网站,淘宝网以及相关系统的核心技术和产品设计。在2005年阿里巴巴合并了雅虎中国后,他还主持了雅虎中国搜索事业部的工作。
Jiong Wu is the founding partner of Fenghe Investment Management Company, the first CTO/angel investor of Alibaba Group, the inventor of Yahoo Inc. (USA) technology patents, the early major investor of Hanting, Jumei, Juguang Technology and Guahao.com, and was named China's Angel Investor of the Year in 2014 by Chuangyebang.
Jiong Wu met Jack Ma in 1997, became an angel investor of Alibaba in the early 2000s, and officially joined Alibaba in May 2000 as the Chief Technology Officer of Alibaba Group. At Alibaba, he led the development of the core technology and product design of Alibaba B2B website, Taobao and related systems. After Alibaba merged with Yahoo China in 2005, he also presided over the work of Yahoo China's search division.
Alibaba's first CTO Wu Jiong
In 2001, Wu Jiong returned from the United States and served as Alibaba's CTO until he left at the end of 2007.
As the chief technology officer, he led the design of the technical platforms of Alibaba and Taobao. Since a lot of his work was still done in Silicon Valley, he also founded Alibaba's US office. By the way, the instant messaging tool Wangwang was developed by Wu Jiong in Silicon Valley.
