郎世宁(1688—1766)是意大利人,生于米兰,清康熙帝五十四年来到中国,随即入宫,历任康、雍、乾三朝,在中国从事绘画达50多年。他是一位艺术上的全面手,人物、肖像、走兽、花鸟、山水无所不涉、无所不精,成为雍正帝、乾隆帝时宫廷绘画的代表人物。代表作有《八骏图》、《吉祥花束》《纯惠贵妃像 镜心》《乾隆皇帝戎装大阅图》《秋林群鹿图》《松间双豹》《瑞应蟠桃》《聚瑞图》。
Lang Shining (1688-1766) was an Italian who was born in Milan. He came to China in the 54th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty and entered the palace. He served in the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties and engaged in painting in China for more than 50 years. He was an all-round artist who was proficient in figures, portraits, animals, flowers and birds, and landscapes. He became a representative figure of court painting during the reigns of Emperor Yongzheng and Emperor Qianlong. His representative works include "Eight Horses", "Auspicious Bouquet", "Portrait of Concubine Chunhui", "Emperor Qianlong's Military Review", "A Group of Deer in the Autumn Forest", "Two Leopards Among the Pines", "Auspicious Peaches", and "Auspicious Gathering".
