郎世宁(Giuseppe Castiglione,1688.7.19-1766.7.16),意大利人,原名朱塞佩·伽斯底里奥内,生于意大利米兰,清康熙帝五十四年(1715)作为天主教耶稣会的修道士来中国传教,随即入宫进入如意馆,为清代宫廷十大画家之一,曾参加圆明园西洋楼的设计工作,历经康、雍、乾三朝,在中国从事绘画50多年,并参加了圆明园西洋楼的设计工作,极大地影响了康熙之后的清代宫廷绘画和审美趣味。 主要作品有《十骏犬图》《百骏图》《乾隆大阅图》《瑞谷图》《花鸟图》《百子图》等。
Giuseppe Castiglione (July 19, 1688-July 16, 1766), Italian, formerly known as Giuseppe Castiglione, was born in Milan, Italy. In the 54th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1715), he came to China as a Jesuit monk to preach. He then entered the palace and entered the Ruyi Pavilion. He was one of the ten great court painters of the Qing Dynasty. He participated in the design of the Western-style buildings in the Old Summer Palace. He experienced the three dynasties of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong. He was engaged in painting in China for more than 50 years and participated in the design of the Western-style buildings in the Old Summer Palace. He greatly influenced the court painting and aesthetic taste of the Qing Dynasty after Kangxi. His main works include "Ten Steeds", "Hundred Horses", "Qianlong Grand Review", "Rui Valley", "Flowers and Birds", "Hundred Children", etc.
