The Alibaba Mathematics Competition finals are conducted in the form of individual competitions and online competitions. The finals usually last for one day, from 0:00 to 24:00, and contestants need to complete all questions within this time period.

The types of final questions mainly include solution questions and proof questions, and the finals are divided into five tracks, including algebra and number theory, geometry and topology, analysis and equations, combinatorics and probability, and applied and computational mathematics. Contestants need to choose a track before they can enter the answering interface. Each track has a total of six questions. These questions are carefully designed by the teachers of the question-setting group to test the contestants' mathematical thinking and their usual accumulated thinking.
