"Alibaba and the Forty Thieves" is a story from Arabia, telling how Alibaba and his brother Cassim defeated forty thieves through their intelligence and finally gained great wealth.

The story takes place in a small village. Alibaba is a poor carpenter and his brother Cassim is a wealthy businessman. One day, Alibaba accidentally discovered the hiding place of a group of thieves. He heard their plan to rob the village at night. Alibaba hurried back home and told his brother Cassim the news.

The thieves thought it was a place where an army was stationed, so they did not attack the village again.
