E-commerce platforms as famous as Alibaba?

| 2Person Answer

Lazada in Southeast Asia has been acquired by Alibaba, with Peng Lei as CEO.

Based on Alibaba's current globalization strategy, it is estimated that some e-commerce platforms in developing regions will be directly acquired by Jack Ma if they have a little sign of development. In some places where there is no such platform, Alibaba will directly go to the land to do AliExpress.

Kilimail in Africa, made by Chinese.

http://mail.ru in Russia, Jack Ma went to Vladivostok to discuss cooperation with people yesterday.

In developed countries:

Otto in Germany, not listed, is considered a family business. Its scale is comparable to Vipshop.

Tesco, a century-old retailer.

It started doing e-commerce in 2000.

Walmart, also has e-commerce business.

Apple, you would never have thought of it. Apple can rank among the top 3 in global e-commerce sales purely by selling its own hardware. And Apple's online sales are actually less than half of its total sales. (Who can blame them for selling at a high price and selling well?)

However, domestic e-commerce is really awesome, with Alibaba 1, JD.com 4, Suning 7, and Vipshop 9. Their sales were all in the top ten in the world in 2017 (the numbers behind are rankings). Pinduoduo has emerged this year and should be able to compete.
