AutoNavi belongs to Alibaba Group. AutoNavi is China's leading digital map, navigation and location service solution provider. The company was founded in 2002 and listed on the Nasdaq Global Premium Market (Nasdaq: AMAP) in 2010. AutoNavi has the national "double A" qualifications of Class A navigation electronic map surveying and mapping and Class A aerial photography, and its high-quality electronic map database has become the company's core competitiveness. On the evening of February 10, 2014, Alibaba's official Weibo announced that Alibaba Group intends to acquire AutoNavi's shares in cash at a price of US$21 per American depositary share, with a total transaction value of approximately US$1.1 billion.

After the transaction is completed, AutoNavi will become a 100% subsidiary of Alibaba and will be integrated into the Alibaba ecosystem for development.
