一、 阿里业务板块
阿里巴巴是国内最大的电商平台,位列中国互联网巨头“BAT”之一。
2017年财年(2016.03~2017.03)收入已达到1583亿元,同比增长57%,5年复合增速51%。
从2017财年起,阿里将其业务分为四大板块:
(1)核心电商业务(由国内外的零售、批发电商平台以及营销平台构成);
(2)云计算业务(阿里云);
(3)数字媒体与娱乐业务(优酷土豆、UC网页等);
(4)创新业务及其他(包括YunOS、高德地图、钉钉等)。
核心电商业务目前仍是阿里的主要收入来源,其他业务增长潜力较大。
2017财年电商板块的收入为1339亿元,占总营收的85%(2015、2016年财年的占比均在90%以上)。其他业务板块也处于快速的增长期,云计算业务2017财年增长121%至67亿元,数字媒体娱乐业务收入增长271%至147亿元,创新类和其他业务收入增长65%至30亿元。三大潜力业务是阿里生态的重要环节,不仅可以服务于阿里核心电商业务,也有望成为阿里未来收入增长的新引擎。

1. Alibaba's business segments
Alibaba is the largest e-commerce platform in China and one of the "BAT" Chinese Internet giants.
In the 2017 fiscal year (March 2016~March 2017), its revenue has reached 158.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57%, and a five-year compound growth rate of 51%.
Since the 2017 fiscal year, Alibaba has divided its business into four major segments:
(1) core e-commerce business (consisting of domestic and overseas retail and wholesale e-commerce platforms and marketing platforms);
(2) cloud computing business (Alibaba Cloud);
(3) digital media and entertainment business (Youku Tudou, UC Webpage, etc.);
(4) innovative business and others (including YunOS, AutoNavi Maps, DingTalk, etc.).
The core e-commerce business is still Alibaba’s main source of revenue, and other businesses have great growth potential.
The e-commerce segment’s revenue in fiscal 2017 was RMB 133.9 billion, accounting for 85% of total revenue (the proportion in fiscal 2015 and 2016 was above 90%). Other business segments are also in a period of rapid growth. In fiscal 2017, the cloud computing business grew by 121% to RMB 6.7 billion, the digital media and entertainment business revenue grew by 271% to RMB 14.7 billion, and the innovative and other business revenue grew by 65% to RMB 3 billion. The three potential businesses are important parts of Alibaba's ecosystem. They can not only serve Alibaba's core e-commerce business, but are also expected to become new engines for Alibaba's future revenue growth.
(1) Membership fees: Enterprises participate in e-commerce transactions through third-party e-commerce platforms. They must register as members of B2B websites and pay a certain membership fee every year to enjoy the various services provided by the website. At present, membership fees have become the main source of income for B2B websites in my country.
(2) Advertising costs: Online advertising is the main source of profit for portal websites and the main source of income for B2B e-commerce websites.
(3) In order to ensure the accuracy of B2B website rankings, it is hoped that the ranking of members will be adjusted according to the order of products.
(4) Value-added services. In addition to providing trade supply and demand information to enterprises, B2B websites usually provide some unique value-added services, including enterprise certification, independent domain names, industry data analysis reports, search engine optimization, etc.
(5) Offline services mainly include exhibitions, journals, seminars, etc. Through exhibitions, suppliers and buyers communicate face to face. Generally, small and medium-sized enterprises prefer this method. Journals are mainly based on industry information and other information, and advertisements can also be implanted in journals.
