潮汕四市是汕头、潮州、揭阳、汕尾四市。
1、汕头市
汕头是潮汕四市之一,也是广东省辖地级市,是经济特区。汕头市是中国大陆唯一拥有内海湾的城市,也是中国东南沿海重要的港口城市、海上丝绸之路的重要门户。汕头是潮汕人的重要祖籍地、聚居地之一,潮汕文化的发源地之一。
2、潮州市
潮州也是潮汕四市之一,地处广东东部,是一座拥有着以前六百多年历史的文化古城。潮州的潮汕文化是岭南文化的重要组成部分,其在唐代以来就是海上丝绸之路的重要门户和对台的通道。
3、揭阳市
揭阳市是潮汕四市之一,地处奥港澳大湾区和海西经济区的地理轴线中心,也是潮汕人重要的祖籍地和聚居地之一。揭阳是全国著名的华侨之乡,其潮汕文化底蕴深厚,揭阳因为古五岭之一的揭阳岭而得名。
4、汕尾市
汕尾市位于潮汕平原东侧,是闽南文化、潮汕文化、客家文化和广府文化的交汇处,也是南海优良渔场。汕尾的风景名胜集滨海风光、山地生态、革命史迹和宗教人文为一体,构成汕尾“红、蓝、绿、古”四大特色旅游资源。

Shantou is one of the four cities of Chaoshan, and is also a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province and a special economic zone. Shantou is one of the important ancestral homes and settlements of Chaoshan people, and one of the birthplaces of Chaoshan culture.
2. Chaozhou City
Chaozhou is also one of the four cities of Chaoshan. It is located in the eastern part of Guangdong and is an ancient cultural city with a history of more than 600 years. Chaoshan culture in Chaozhou is an important part of Lingnan culture. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has been an important gateway to the Maritime Silk Road and a passage to Taiwan.
3. Jieyang City
Jieyang City is one of the four cities in Chaoshan. It is located in the center of the geographical axis of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Haixi Economic Zone. It is also one of the important ancestral homes and settlements of Chaoshan people. Jieyang is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in the country. It has a profound Chaoshan cultural heritage. Jieyang is named after Jieyang Ridge, one of the ancient five ridges.
4. Shanwei City
Shanwei City is located on the east side of the Chaoshan Plain. It is the intersection of Minnan culture, Chaoshan culture, Hakka culture and Cantonese culture. It is also an excellent fishing ground in the South China Sea. Shanwei's scenic spots integrate coastal scenery, mountain ecology, revolutionary historical sites and religious humanities, which constitute Shanwei's four characteristic tourism resources of "red, blue, green and ancient".
