Method 1: Send an email to cancel

Fill in an application letter with the following information:

1. After filling in the "Application Letter for Cancellation of Real-Name Authentication", print a paper version and sign it, and attach a paper photo with the signature (the photo is named: nickname + Douyin ID + application letter).

2. A photo of the front and back of the ID card signed by the person himself, and the text on the ID card must be clearly legible.

3. A photo of the person holding the ID card and a paper with "Only for Douyin to cancel real-name authentication" written on it. The person, the ID card and the paper must be in the same photo, and the handwriting must be clearly legible.

4. A screenshot of the real-name authentication information on the Douyin APP.

The email title is [Cancel real-name authentication + Douyin nickname + Douyin account + name], and then send it to the email feedback@douyin.com. The official will reply to the account processing results within 15 working days after receiving the application.

Method 2: Contact Douyin official

Enter the Douyin app and submit feedback in [Security Center-FAQ]. Take a screenshot of the problem that requires you to cancel the real-name authentication and leave your contact information. Douyin official staff will contact you for feedback.

Method 3: Cancel the account

Cancel the account, also through the [Security Center]. It will take about 3 months for the Douyin account to be completely cancelled, and then the real-name authentication of the account will be automatically lifted.
