Zixia said that only the one who can pull out her purple and green sword is her ideal man. The two monsters compete to pull out the purple and green sword, and even turn against each other and fight. During the fight, there is a scene in the end trailer of the first "Moonlight Treasure Box" where a peacock spirit spreads its tail feathers and shoots thousands of arrows.

The two monsters entangled endlessly, and Zixia had to use the bracelet to emit soul-sucking sound (the trick used to deal with Erlang Shen and the Four Heavenly Kings), and took the opportunity to get rid of them. This is a foreshadowing.

Afterwards, the Bull Demon King publicly announced that he would marry Zixia. Of course, the Toad Spirit was not convinced (I oppose this marriage!), after all, it was he and his cousin, the Peacock Spirit, who met Zixia first, and only the two of them knew the Fairy Zixia's criteria for choosing a spouse. Although the Bull Demon King had great magical powers, he might not be able to pull out the Purple and Green Sword.

And just when the Toad Spirit was talking about the Purple and Green Sword, the sword happened to fall out of Zhizunbao, which is why the monsters could recognize it as the Purple and Green Sword at the first time.

Most of the monsters in A Chinese Odyssey are quite straightforward (like the Black Mountain Old Monster). In the eyes of the Toad Spirit, although the Bull Demon King saved Zixia, he still had to act according to the rules, so of course he had to oppose it, with confidence and righteous words!
