I tried to search on Pinduoduo, and the first result was indeed a Wuling Hongguang with a price of 9.9 yuan, and the sales seemed to be good. But after clicking in, you will find that the so-called 9.9 yuan is just a deposit. After placing the deposit, you need to pay the car price in the store or take out a loan to buy a car.
On Pinduoduo's video ads, there are also words such as "Buy a car for 9.9 yuan!" and "Limited time and limited quantity rush purchase price 9.9 yuan", and there is no text to explain that 9.9 yuan is just a deposit. Consumers are normal people, and they all know that although Wuling Hongguang is cheap, it is impossible to sell it for 9.9 yuan, so it will not cause much impact. It's just that whether this marketing method is reasonable or even legal remains to be discussed.
So buying Wuling Hongguang on Pinduoduo is the same as buying it normally in a 4S store. Of course, the platform may have some discounts of one or two thousand or cash subsidies, but in fact, such discounts are also available in 4S stores. And you can bargain in 4S stores, but you can’t do that on these e-commerce platforms.
