有字节跳动内部人士透露,新成立的电商部门原属商业产品部门管辖,经过此次调整,电商部门和现有的营销中心、商业产品等部门成为平行部门。今后,Bob带领的电商事业部将负责抖音、今日头条、西瓜视频等多个内容平台的电商业务,同时还掌管TikTok的电商战略,未来Bob直接向字节跳动(中国)董事长张利东汇报。
Bob’s Chinese name is Kang Zeyu. He was previously the head of ByteDance’s international products, including Toutiao’s overseas product TopBuzz and Indian social product Helo.
An insider of ByteDance revealed that the newly established e-commerce department was originally under the jurisdiction of the commercial product department. After this adjustment, the e-commerce department and the existing marketing center, commercial product and other departments have become parallel departments. In the future, the e-commerce division led by Bob will be responsible for the e-commerce business of multiple content platforms such as Douyin, Toutiao, and Xigua Video, and will also be in charge of TikTok’s e-commerce strategy. In the future, Bob will report directly to Zhang Lidong, chairman of ByteDance (China).
