1. Redesign of the shopping cart landing page

In December last year, the shopping cart product page was quietly redesigned - the new page shows promotional videos of the same product by other influencers below the product, and similar products will be recommended if you continue to scroll down, resulting in small merchants' orders and fans being intercepted and divided by big Vs.

2. Small stores introduce rating and withdrawal mechanisms

Douyin has released new rules for small stores, and has added a new store rating mechanism. Stores that are less than LV1 for 60 consecutive days will be withdrawn, and different levels correspond to corresponding daily orders and sales. After exceeding the upper limit, small store products will be restricted from purchase.

3. Limit the frequency of shopping cart videos

Since January 2020, the frequency of publishing shopping cart videos has been limited according to the number of fans. Among them, accounts with less than 1,000 fans can only publish one shopping cart video per week. If the number exceeds the limit, they will be restricted from binding products.

4. Limit the number of pid bindings

Recently, some merchants have announced that the original Taoke pid can no longer be bound to more Douyin accounts. Some people have been restricted for binding less than 10 times, which undoubtedly greatly limits the gameplay of matrix shopping.

5. Manually block window products

From January 15, 2020, the platform will re-screen cosmetics products and only select high-quality products for sharing by experts. Products that do not meet the requirements will not be added to the shopping cart.
