4月11日,义乌国际博览中心的一个大厅内座无虚席。数百名商家聚集在这里,参加字节跳动旗下抖音的电商业务分享会,到场的还有抖音数位高管。
这场活动鼓励商家通过短视频和直播活动在抖音电商平台上销售商品,高管们称这些是吸引“年轻高质量消费者”的关键。
抖音电商推广部门高管表示:“我们的日活用户数量已经达到6亿。”他称这一用户群“非常有黏性”,每天在抖音上花费的时间很长。
在义乌举办的电商分享会只是抖音开展的一系列线下活动之一。其目的是帮助字节跳动建立起庞大的商家生态系统,更好地与拼多多以及阿里巴巴等电商巨头进行竞争。
“抖音电商的故事才刚刚开始,”4月8日在广州举行的抖音电商首届生态大会上,字节跳动电商事业部负责人康泽宇告诉商户和其他与会者,“希望大家能和我们一起,共同成长,共同收获。”

On April 11, a hall in Yiwu International Expo Center was packed. Hundreds of merchants gathered here to participate in the e-commerce business sharing session of Douyin, a subsidiary of ByteDance, and several Douyin executives were also present.
The event encouraged merchants to sell goods on the Douyin e-commerce platform through short videos and live broadcasts, which executives said were the key to attracting "young, high-quality consumers."
"We have reached 600 million daily active users," said an executive of Douyin's e-commerce promotion department. He called this user group "very sticky" and spent a lot of time on Douyin every day.
The e-commerce sharing session held in Yiwu is just one of a series of offline activities held by Douyin. Its purpose is to help ByteDance build a large merchant ecosystem to better compete with e-commerce giants such as Pinduoduo and Alibaba.
"The story of Douyin e-commerce has just begun," Kang Zeyu, head of ByteDance's e-commerce division, told merchants and other attendees at the first Douyin e-commerce ecosystem conference held in Guangzhou on April 8. "I hope everyone can grow and gain together with us."
